The Shellback's plating cuts cannon damage to a fraction of normal — the resolver applies the multiplier before anything else touches the number.
It prefers close range and holds there, which is exactly where the other answer to it wants you anyway.
How to fight it
- Cannonballs bounce off the shell. Only the ram cracks it — bring Ram levels or expect a long fight.
